Dear reader(s),

Here some first information about PCBS De Regenboog (PCBS The Rainbow) in The Netherlands.
We are very pleased to contribute in the Erasmus+ project with all of you.
We just had an action called 'Kinderpostzegels'. It's an action where children all over The Netherlands try to sell 'Child welfare stamps'. The profit of this action will go to children in need all over the world. I think this action matches one of our goals 'equality for all'... :-) Below a video we made at the start of the action!

Also we started with designing a logo for the project. In the next update I will post some final results!

Gender in adverts

A brilliant film showing how media influence us in a bad way. Rape and violence in adverts of the greatest companies in the world, for me it's shocking and unacceptable. And our kids watch it without any comment, taking it as a standard, as a real world should look like. I can't accept that!!! A film is great, maybe not to show to our pupils, but for an inspiration for teachers. We can show it to our colleagues during teachers' meeting. For those the bravest amongst us - let's do something similiar. Vladi, are you in? :)

The Sacrifice Feast in Turkey is a four-day religious festival. The Sacrifice Feast is an official four-day (4th-7th October ) holiday in Turkey this year.So we are at holiday.
The Sacrifice Feast traditions in Turkey include sacrificing an animal in a special ritual, visiting relatives and helping the poor..
